Kaitan (ProkaitanSystems OÜ) is an Estonian deep tech data security company specialising in cryptographic data security, integrity and provenance for government, critical infrastructure and defence users. Most assurance today rests on process: certifications, audits and trust in intermediaries. Kaitan provides mathematical evidence instead. Using hash-linked certification and distributed ledger technology, we anchor data, logs, software artefacts, hardware records and authorisation decisions so that any party can independently verify their authenticity, integrity and time of existence at any later point. Verification does not require access to the underlying data, which makes the approach usable across organisational and classification boundaries, and the cryptographic primitives are post-quantum safe. For Ukrainian civilian cyber resilience, this is directly applicable to: tamper-evident audit trails for state registries and public services; integrity monitoring and evidence preservation for incident response and forensic use; verifiable provenance of software updates and hardware components entering critical systems; and continuity of proof where systems are distributed, degraded or intermittently connected.
