The Tallinn Mechanism Project Office (TMPO) continues to strengthen cooperation with European cybersecurity partners.
Last week, Olesya Danylchenko, Head of TMPO, participated in two key events organized by the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre (ECCC) in Rotterdam, the Netherlands – the NCC Network Day and ECCC Governing Board meeting.
On June 9, the NCC Network Day brought together representatives of National Coordination Centres from across Europe. Participants shared the results of important national cybersecurity initiatives and discussed emerging priorities in the field. The meeting aimed to enhance coordination across the network and promote knowledge-sharing among national authorities and stakeholders.

During the event, Olesya Danylchenko presented the Tallinn Mechanism and the achievements of the Tallinn Mechanism Project Office in Kyiv. She also highlighted the development of public-private partnerships through the Tallinn Mechanism Platform. Particular attention was given to the €2.5 million joint Ukrainian-Dutch grant programme. It is implemented by NCC-NL: The Netherlands Cybersecurity Coordination Centre with the support of the Government of the Netherlands.
On June 10-11, the ECCC held its 17th Governing Board meeting. The event brought together representatives of EU Member States, the European Commission, the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA), and other key stakeholders.
Discussions focused on strategic and operational priorities for European cybersecurity. Participants reviewed recent EU cybersecurity policy developments, received updates on ECCC activities, and discussed programmes that support cybersecurity capacity building and innovation across Europe.
In her presentation, Olesya Danylchenko emphasized the importance of further strengthening international cooperation in cybersecurity. She demonstrated how the Tallinn Mechanism has evolved over the past 2.5 years. What started as an international initiative has grown into a practical framework that delivers tangible cybersecurity projects for critical infrastructure and government entities. Another important area is the further engagement of the private sector and the development of public-private partnerships within the Tallinn Mechanism Platform.
TMPO’s participation in ECCC events highlights the importance of closer cooperation between Ukraine and its European partners in the cybersecurity domain. Together, Ukraine and its partners are developing practical tools that strengthen cyber resilience in Ukraine and across Europe.
