Five months after its launch, the Tallinn Mechanism Platform has become an entry point for companies interested in supporting Ukraine's cybersecurity through international cooperation.
Launched in February 2026, the Platform strengthens cooperation with the private sector, supports business networking in cybersecurity, and promotes international public-private partnerships under the Tallinn Mechanism.
During its first five months, the Platform attracted more than 25,000 page views. Most visitors came from Ukraine, the United Kingdom, Canada, the United States, Germany, and Italy.
The Platform provides up-to-date information about the Tallinn Mechanism and gives companies access to tenders, grant opportunities, and other ways to participate in international cybersecurity projects.
Interest from the private sector continues to grow. More than 184 companies from 22 countries have applied to join the Platform. Profiles of 150 companies have already been published in the Company Directory. The remaining applicants are completing their profiles or undergoing verification by Tallinn Mechanism member states.
The largest number of registered companies comes from Ukraine, the United Kingdom, Canada, Italy, Germany, and the Netherlands. This broad international participation demonstrates growing business interest in contributing to Ukraine's cyber resilience and building long-term international partnerships.
Organisations of different sizes and areas of expertise have registered on the Platform. It helps companies identify potential partners, build international consortia, and prepare joint proposals for cybersecurity projects under the Tallinn Mechanism.
To expand engagement with the private sector, the TMPO team together with partners conducted 10 introductory webinars for companies from Norway, Poland, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Germany, France, and the United States.
Besides, in 2026 four in-person networking events were held:
- for Canadian companies in partnership with the Estonian Embassy in Canada
- for European companies in Brussels together with the European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO), the European External Action Service, the European Commission, GIZ, and the Government of Germany
- 2 meetings with representatives of Ukraine's cybersecurity private sector in cooperation with the IT Ukraine Association
To make registration easier, TMPO has also prepared a step-by-step guide explaining how companies can join the Platform and complete their registration.
The TMPO team will continue developing the Platform and creating new opportunities for international cooperation under the Tallinn Mechanism.
The Platform was developed by the Tallinn Mechanism Project Office (TMPO) with financial support from the Estonian Centre for International Development (ESTDEV). The initiative was launched by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.
