On 28–29 September and 30 September–1 October 2026, two consecutive UA-EE Cyber Shield Technical Cybersecurity Training Sessions were held in Kyiv within the framework of the Tallinn Mechanism. The events were organised by the National Cybersecurity Coordination Centre of the NSDC of Ukraine, the e-Governance Academy, and CybExer, with support from ESTDEV.
Together, the two training sessions brought together nearly 100 cybersecurity specialists from across Ukraine. This made them one of the largest regional capacity-building activities within the UA-EE Cyber Shield initiative. Participants represented Kyiv and 15 regions of Ukraine, including Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Lviv, Mykolaiv, Poltava, Kherson, Kirovohrad, Cherkasy, Zaporizhzhia, Vinnytsia, Kharkiv, Chernivtsi, and Sumy regions.
Overall, more than 400 participants have taken part in the UA-EE Cyber Shield programme.
The training sessions helped strengthen practical cybersecurity skills, cooperation, and cyber resilience at both the central and regional levels.
